Our content manager for the German market is going on maternity leave in August and we need a maternity cover for the position for 12 months from August the 1st 2019. As a content manager you will be responsible for our German website, German social media and newsletters and the execution of German digital campaigns.
You will work with a team of six content managers, but you will be the only one working on the German market version. It is therefore crucial that you write German at mother tongue level. Additionally you need to be speaking either Danish or English, our corporate language is Danish.
Your main task will be to ensure synergies between visitdenmark.de, our German campaigns and our online presence in general. It will be your responsibility to ensure that our German website and other digital channels are on-brand and follow our content strategy and tone of voice.
Furthermore you will assist in concept and campaign development for the German market. You will be working closely with all of the digital team in Copenhagen – but also with our market office in Hamburg.
The content manager for the German market is a very important part of our organisation.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Strengthening and executing VisitDenmark’s editorial guidelines across our digital platforms for the German market.
- Creating dynamic and engaging content for social media, website and newsletters in German.
- Concept development and building digital campaigns in close collaboration with our creative team and our German market office.
- Ensuring that content on visitdenmark.de is SEO-strong.
- Acting as liaison for the German market office and proactively contributing to knowledge-sharing on digital/social trends.
- Regularly testing and adjusting content requirements to achieve the digital KPIs for the German market.
The position is within the Department of Digital Media at VisitDenmark in Copenhagen. The department works closely with both our market offices and our colleagues in Strategic Marketing.
You have a desire to promote Denmark as a holiday destination. You have a proven ability to create sharp, SEO-strong, dynamic texts and a high attention to detail.
You have a proven track-record of writing high-quality content for a range of platforms and targets. You are an experienced user of social media and of CMS platforms.
Your educational background is within communication, marketing or journalism and you have a passion for writing and communication.
You are able to work independently and in a structured and organised manner, with both routine tasks and bigger projects. You are innovative and thrive in a hectic, open-office environment, juggling multiple projects.
