Content is a pivotal element of DFDS’ marketing strategy, as content is the essential trigger to engaging key audiences, building perception and driving conversions. As we build the brand and scale up activities for engaging business-to-business audiences, we need a person who, in addition to copywriting, takes the lead on the overall content strategy.

This role will ensure a coherent tone of voice, create consistent messaging, support the brand with relevant stories, and drive efficient execution of campaigns, social media and creative production from a messaging point of view.
A skilled and fun department in an ever-changing environment
You will join the Group Marketing team located at DFDS Headquarters. Our team is a group of fun-loving, curious and talented people, working together to build the DFDS global brand and drive demand for the Freight Ferries and Logistics segments, which is 80% of our revenue.
On the team, we are responsible for the DFDS brand and creative development, demand generation for Freight business-to-business, SEO & SEM, and global website operations and analytics.
The key purpose of this role is to develop a creative content strategy to engage business-to-business audiences in freight ferries and logistics segments. You will build messaging frameworks and value propositions for DFDS business-to-business offerings and in co-creation with Creative Production (internal and external) deliver on-brand, on-message cross-media/video content.
Another important job will be to map out content to be delivered throughout the buyer’s journey in order to move them closer to their goals while mastering the creation, publication, and governance of useful and engaging content.
In addition to these areas, you will be working with the brand team to establish tone of voice and a brand messaging platform, as well as messaging frameworks for DFDS offerings.
You probably hav a Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or Journalism with preferably 5-8 years experience from working in the field of international business-to-business marketing. You’re a storyteller by heart with a creative mind, a strategic and holistic communications mindset, proven skills in developing messaging frameworks and concepts that tell the story. Besides, you have:
- An analytical approach with a strong interest in business value drivers and developing commercial insights
- Experience in working with video, animation, and other cross-media formats
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, native speaker preferred
- Good at project management, both as a team player and individual performer
