Better Collective is one of Denmark’s biggest startup success stories. Within a short period of time, Better Collective has gone from a small group of founders, to becoming a publicly traded company that employs over 250 people with 5 international offices.

Our story is a dynamic one, and we are looking for someone to help us share it. We are in need of support when it comes to creating strong relationships with journalists that can help tell our story, both as a young and exciting company and a financial growth story. We also want to strengthen our employer brand with the local community via our social media channels and communication with the press.

The role
As our PR & Outreach Specialist you will be a part of the PR Team, whose main objective is to set communication goals and manage Better Collective in the eye of the public. This is a creative and detail orientated role with a strong focus on execution of tasks. The working environment is fast paced, which will reflect in your personal development during your time at Better Collective.

Main responsibilities

  • reaching out and creating strong relationships with institutions and media based in Denmark
  • work closely with our Investor Relations team to share press releases around the financial calendar
  • work with our Internal Communications team to help build employer branding initiatives
  • further our relationships with iGaming industry media
  • collaborate with external stakeholders to organise and/or participate in events
  • contribute employer branding content for our social media channels
  • apply and coordinate awards applications
  • measure and report media activities
  • contribute ideas as to how Better Collective can engage more with the community and increase our employer branding
  • supporting and executing on tasks related to CSR projects and activities

Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate has 2+ years experience with a PR agency, as well as having experience within project management and managing social media channels professionally. Event coordination is an advantage, as well as having connections to key external stakeholders such as local and national media, event organisers, and institutions.

Ideal requirements

  • fluent in Danish and English (knowing Swedish is bonus)
  • strong understanding of PR
  • previous experience within PR and/or Event coordination
  • high level understanding of social media landscape
  • sociable and able to create strong professional relationships
  • detail oriented and organised
