20.166 arbejder blev sendt ind fra 69 lande til jubilæums-udgaven, 50 år, af The One Show, der er blandt de mest prestigefyldte awardshows i den kreative verden.
1 ud 100 arbejder vandt guld, og der var i alt 11 danske guldvindere – hvilket er rekord: 7 guld til Backup Ukraine fra Virtue for Polycam & Unesco, 2 guld til Chillboards fra Nord DDB for Coors Light samt 2 guld til Fingerspelling fra Hello Monday/Dept for American society for deaf children.
De tre cases fik tilsammen 11 guld, 11 sølv, 2 bronze og 6 merits.
Derudover vandt Accenture Song 1 bronze og 2 merits for 50 queens samt 1 merit for The Female Gaze. Nord DDB vandt yderligere en bronze for Follow their leader, og der var merits til både Bacon og Yahoo Amplify 360.
Kun tre bureauer i The One Show vandt flere guld end Virtue, som med Backup Ukraine har skabt den mest prisvindende danske case nogensinde. Ved The One Show var der også 4 sølv, 2 bronze og 2 merits til dem.
Nord DDB er nu heller ikke så ringe kørende – til de 2 guld blev føjet 4 sølv og 3 merits. Chillboards varmede op til The One Show ved ADC Annual Awards, der er en del af One Club-familien, hvor casen vandt 1 über-pris, 2 grand prix, 5 guld, 5 sølv, 1 bronze og 2 merits.
Chillboards vandt The Designism Cube, der går til work that not only meets peerless creative standards, but also encourages positive societal and political change. Grand Prix’erne hedder Best of Discipline, og Nord DBB vandt dem i Typography og Advertising.
Og den danske triumf ved The One Show kan blive endnu større fredag aften i New York. Da uddeles særpriser som Best of discipline.
