Cannes-løve til Nord DDB

Stop hadet, der radikaliserer unge på Instagram, ved at købe ekstremisterne falske følgere. Ideen og eksekveringen udløste en dansk løve.

Nord DDB vandt en bronzeløve på tredjedagen ved Cannes Lions. Det skete i kategorien Social & Influencer Lions, og tommelfingerreglen for jurymedlemmer gælder stadig: Behold kun de bedste 10 pct. af indsendelserne til shortlisten, og til de eksklusive restmængde er blot løver til 3 ud af 10. Så for at være løve-værdig skal man i juryens øjne være bedre end ca. 97 pct. af feltet. 

Løven til Nord DDB kom i hus for casen Follow their leader. Instagram er ikke effektiv nok til at lukke ned for had, racisme, sexisme og homofobi, så Non-violence project foundation køber falske følgere til radikaliserende ekstremisters Instagram-konto – og falske følgere … dét reagerer Instagram på. Ikke nogen varig løsning, men et wakeup-call til Instagram-ejeren Meta.

Nord DDB-løven er den foreløbig femte ved dette års Cannes Lions. Der er fortsat 17 danske shortlister i spil til løver. Vinderne i disse kategorier afsløres torsdag og fredag aften i festivalpalæet.
