Første danske løve i Cannes 2023

Næsten 2000 arbejder dystede i Outdoor Lions i Cannes, og juryen gav løver til blot 3 pct. af dem. Københavnerbænken fra TV 2 vandt en bronzeløve.

TV 2 Creative og TV 2 Danmark havde varmet Københavnerbænken op med bl.a. tre guld ved Creative Circle Award for godt et par uger siden. 

Og mandag aften i festivalpalæet i Cannes vandt bænken en bronzeløve i Outdoor-kategorien. Det markerer den første løve til dansk kreativitet ved årets Cannes Lions, men det er som antydet ikke første pris til bænken, der på enkel show it don’t tell it-facon skærer konsekvensen af klimaforandringerne ud i genbrugt metal. 

Ud over de tre guldcirkler er det bl.a. blevet til tredobbelt Clio Grand ved Clio Entertainment og en graphite pencil ved D&AD. I Cannes Lions er Københavnerbænken den mest nominerede danske case indtil videre med seks shortlister.

Outdoor er Cannes Lions’ tredjestørste kategori med 1938 indsendte arbejder. Juryen sorterede ca. 90 pct. fra til shortlisten, og herfra har færre end hver tredje fået løve. 59 arbejder fik en løve, svarende til 3 pct. af alle indsendelser til kategorien.
