2 bronze og 6 shortlister til Danmark på andendagen i Cannes

Uncle Grey vandt de første danske bronzeløver ved årets Cannes Lions, og håndværkskategorierne udløste godt en håndfuld shortlister til 6 danske bureauer.

Oven på førstedagen i årets Cannes Lions, hvor Kühl & Han vandt Grand Prix og Hello Monday vandt en guldløve – begge i Design Lions, var andendagen mere behersket, set med danske kreative briller.

Der var 17 danske shortlister i spil i 5 kategorier, og der var løver i 2 af dem – begge gik til Uncle Grey:

Forinden var dagens shortlister blevet offentliggjort. Festivalen har 3 craft-kategorier, og der var dansk håndværk i 2 af dem; Digital Craft og Film Craft.

I Digital Craft fortsætter Hello Monday for at tiltrække opmærksomhed med Fingerspelling-casen og får to nomineringer, mens Virtue og No Sleep får én for DDR-museet, og AKQA én for Earthspeakr.

I Film Craft er sound design og musikkollektivet Ballad på shortlisten med The Journey for Zillow, og Copenhagen VFX er shortlistet for IWC.

Det bringer det samlede antal af danske shortlister op på 30 indtil videre.

I de tre Entertainment-kategorier var der ingen danske arbejder på shortlisten.
